With the origins of the company tracing back nearly 40 years, Bagwell initially built its fabrication business at a Louisiana Highway 14 location, then expanded in the mid-1990s as a Iberia Parish tenant with new manufacturing space and a slip terminal at the Twin Parish Port in Delcambre Louisiana, on Bayou Carlin. This allowed the company to support offshore oil and gas production with easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico.
After selling its assets to the Shaw Group 20 years ago, and later reemerging as Bagwell, the Delcambre, LA company further reinvented itself in 2014 with new management and the sole purpose of becoming one of the premier land and offshore construction and fabrication companies servicing the oil and gas industry. Original owners Coleman and Rodger Bagwell led a buyout of the Twin Parish Port location from Shaw Group successor Chicago Bridge and Iron Works (CBI), returning to their original port location and bringing the company full circle with an innovative, experienced, hands-on leadership team.
Today, Bagwell understands the critical needs of the oil and gas industry, aided by experienced personnel in all aspects of production. Expanding its services as industrial fabricators to the chemical manufacturing and liquefied natural gas processing industries, as well as serving its offshore and onshore oil and gas customers in Texas, Louisiana and upper Midwest states, Bagwell has built a reputation for diverse capabilities without compromising the integrity of its services.
